PLEASE NOTE The following represents the initial very brief plan for the tour, and only gives details of the major attractions to be visited.
There will be many other gardens and attractions included, depending on the circumstances at the time
of the tour.
Day 1 London
through
Berkshire and the Marlborough Downs
to the county of Wiltshire Visit The
Manor House at Upton Grey
Overnight in West Wiltshire
Day 2 Around
Wiltshire for the day, including visits to
Lacock, Bowood House and Garden, Salisbury
Cathedral. A second overnight in Wiltshire
Day 3 south
through
Somersetshire and Devonshire to mid
Cornwall visiting
Stourhead, and East Lambrook
Manor on the way
Overnight in Mid Cornwall
Day 4 visit
to The Garden
House, The Tamar Valley
and
Endsleigh Garden
Overnight in Mid-Cornwall
Day 5 to
south Cornwall - visit
The Eden Project, and The Lost
Gardens
of Heligan.
Overnight in South Cornwall
Day 6 Visit
the fabulous gardens of South
Cornwall Trebah,
Glendurgan, Trevarno, and some private gardens
as time permits.
Overnight in South Cornwall
Day 7 An optional day trip to The Scilly Isles and the unusual Tresco
Abbey Gardens.
This is a highly
recommended full day trip and involves
a 20 minute helicopter flight to and from the Scilly
Isles. Tour member who prefers not to go to Tresco
will tour the southern peninsual
of Cornwall for the
morning with free time in Penzance in the afternoon.
Overnight in South Cornwall
Day 8 another
day to enjoy the delights of Cornwall
a scenic drive along the coast, and a visit to Pine Lodge Garden
Overnight in South
Cornwall
Day 9 to
the north coast of Devon visiting the north
coast fishing villages, Docton
Mill Garden and the Italian fantasy garden at Tapeley Park.
Overnight in North Devon
Day 10
The superb RHS
show garden at Rosemoor , the
rugged North Devon and Somerset
Coastline ,The Doone Valley,
and Exmoor
National Park,

The historic gardens of Forde Abbey, the charming garden at Minterne Magna, and a viewing of The Cerne Abbas Giant . and Milford Abbas Overnight in Dorset
Day 12
from Dorset to Heathrow
or Gatwick airports - visiting the Sir
Harold Hillier Arboretum and Gardens en route.
Overnight at the Airport Hotel prior to flying home tomorrow.
Every effort
will be made to conduct the tour itinerary as it is
planned. However,
changes or substitutions may prove necessary, due to operational conditions beyond our control at
the time of service
Please note:
This itinerary
is planned specifically for a Small Group in order that we can gain access
to the smaller private gardens, and our vehicle can
negotiate the narrow byways of the area to be visited.
Subsequently places are
limited to a maximum of 8 Guests. If you are interested

The viability
of the tour is totally dependent on the participation
of everyone who commits to joining the group, and we therefore strongly
urge all participants to obtain trip cancellation
insurance.
A deposit
of 10% is required at the time of reservation, with
the final balance being due on the 2nd
of February 2008.
The tour
commences and ends at or in the vicinity of Heathrow
or Gatwick Airports.
